Tour > How Does Eventful Work?

1. Create Your Event
Start out by creating your event, defining the start and end dates, location and lodging preference (if needed). Event information is published in real-time to a public website. You can choose from various website themes for the look you prefer.

2. Import Attendees
Upload your attendees from CRM or any other database. You'll use Eventful's Excel template to populate your attendees.

3. Build Tracks, Sessions and Pricing
Setup your tracks and sessions for registration, and pricing options for attendees. Pricing options can be setup for certain attendee groups, allowing various registration fees for different groups.

4. Create Surveys
Build attendee-specific surveys to collect additional information from your attendees during registration and after the event.

5. Setup Lodging
If necessary, you can allow attendees to reserve hotel rooms during the event. Attendees request rooms at registration time.

6. Create Your Email Campaigns & Send Invitations
Define your attendee-specific email campaigns and send invitations. Attendees are presented with a customized email and a personalized registration site.

But There's More...

Eventful is more than just a convenient way to accept registrations and manage attendees. With Eventful, you can also...

Manage Staff & Speakers
Events aren't just attendees. Personnel can be assigned tasks at sessions, or to speaking engagements. Featured speakers are displayed on the public event website, helping drive interest in your event.

Create Lodging for Personnel
Personnel can be assigned to lodging. Roommates are also supported.

Keep Up With Your Event Using Real-Time Reports
Eventful provides numerous reports in PDF and Excel format to help you keep on top of your event. Various versions of reports are provided for various needs, such as catering or room setup.

Assign Tasks to Other Eventful Users
Eventful supports creating and assigning tasks, both to yourself and other users. You can monitor those assigned tasks, making sure things get done.
